Faire du Cyrano de Bergerac d’Edmond Rostand une comédie musicale est un challenge que relève le producteur et metteur en scène niçois, Gil Marsalla, à qui l’on doit de grands succès internationaux, avec ses iconiques spectacles sur Piaf, Aznavour, Brel, Bécaud… Il a choisi aujourd'hui de se tourner vers un personnage de fiction dans cette adaptation écrite par Stéphane Brunello et Philippe Hattemberg, les deux auteurs-compositeurs du Roi Soleil et de Mozart l’Opéra Rock. Transposée à une époque contemporaine et dans l’univers du spectacle vivant, mais respectant totalement le déroulement de la pièce, cette formidable histoire d'amour donne à ce classique des lettres françaises une fraicheur originale. On retrouve Cyrano, Christian, Roxane (en danseuse étoile !), et tous les éléments de cette mythique romance, le tout en 22 chansons interprétées en live par 4 chanteurs, dont Romain Dos Santos et Joséphine Cosoleto, respectivement anciens participants de The Voice France (Saison 9) et Belgique (Saison 10).
